Marina Nemat is an Iranian and a Christian. In this film, she gives her testimony with great relevance and power. Facing the truth of her own story and that of her country, Iran, Marina shows us that, in spite of the lack of support from those around her, choosing JUSTICE
and FORGIVENESS is a power which can set us free.
In January 1982, when Marina was 16, her country was in the midst of a far-reaching political and cultural revolution under the fundamentalist regime of the Ayatollah Khomeini. Marina was arrested and sentenced to death…
Now married with two children, she lives with her husband in Canada. Today, she travels
the world "to carry the memory", and talk about the truth and the power of forgiveness.

In her message, Marina also sheds light on the current situation in the Near East. It is
an invitation to pray more than ever before for the future of these countries.
