Alexandre Men’is - išskirtinis žmogus krikščionybėje, tapęs moderniosios ortodoksijos atspindžiu, universaliu genijumi, karštu pranašu ir drąsiu apaštalu. Jis mirė kankinio mirtimi 1990 m. spalio 9, žlungant komunistinei sistemai.

On 3rd October 2007, the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia, Alexis II, visited France and prayed with several thousands of Christians in Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. A historic step of reconciliation between the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church. For this month in joining his prayer, with Christ who was crucified, pronounced on that occasion by the Patriarch Alexis II, let us pray,

that we may continue to find possibilities

of bearing witness together

to the Truth of the Gospel and to its values.
