In Manila, the capital of the Philippines, many slum children live on the streets abandoned by their families and are easy prey for predators of any kind. The charity ANAK-Tnk, 'a bridge for children' run by a French priest Matthew Dauchez, works to take children away from the streets and help them build their future. In the heart of all their distress they experience a light that is rooted in Christ and stronger than anything else.
