Cries for help can be gifts too! In 2003, the Archbishop of Kinshasa entrusted the parish of St. Christine to the Chemin Neuf Community. In doing so, he not only entrusted a church but also a dilapidated school where the children slept in the streets. It was the start of an adventure that would lead to the creation of the Ndako Ya Biso centre. Its purpose was to welcome these children and to reintegrate more than 2000 of them into their families. The mission grew from these small beginnings. The school was rebuilt, as well as a vocational training centre, a clinic, and a welcome centre outside the city. The Holy Spirit inspired these daily experiences in the joy and strength of hope that reveals the way.
