Only the Holy Spirit can reveal the living, all-present Christ!
Do not be afraid of the Holy Spirit!
This is the invitation that we are given by Father Raniero Cantalamessa in his testimony, in particular of his personal experience of Baptism in the Holy Spirit, the working the Holy Spirit in his life.
This Franciscan Capuchin friar, a theologian and historian, has for several years devoted himself to preaching a new Pentecost throughout the world with a special charismatic and ecumenical conviction. He has also been the preacher to the papal household since 1980.
Through his conviction that the events of Pentecost two thousand years ago are continuing in the world today, Father Raniero Cantalamessa invites us to recognise and experience the life-giving breath of the Holy Spirit, which can clearly be seen in the great movement of Renewal, this spiritual awakening that has been experienced in the Christian churches since the beginning of the twentieth century.

Intercession du mois

This month we suggest that you pray that our churches discover and deepen their awareness of Baptism in the Spirit,

so that they may grow in Unity.

Parole du mois

The word for this month is from the Book of the Acts of the Apostles 1: 8

the promise that Jesus gave before leaving them:

“You will receive power

when the Holy Spirit comes on you.”
