On October 31, 1517, the German monk Martin Luther set off the Reformation by denouncing church abuses of his time after an overwhelming experience of God's free and forgiving love. After 500 years of separation, misunderstandings and finally dialogue, Catholics and Protestants are meeting together to celebrate salvation in Jesus Christ.

This year 2017 is marked by many celebrations around the world for the Jubilee of the Reformation. It is the first time in history that a commemoration of the Reformation is taking place in an ecumenical way, in a spirit of reconciliation between Protestants and Catholics. In this film, we go to meet those who are committed to moving from ‘conflict to communion’, from Strasbourg to Berlin, via Taizé.

Ce film est réalisé par la Communauté du Chemin Neuf via le réseau international de prière « Net for God ».
