He comments on some of the proposals put forward by the Second Vatican Council regarding the theological aspects of the meeting of different faiths.<br \/>Father \u00c9tienne Renaud, a White Father and former Superior General of the White Fathers, the Missionnaires d&#8217;Afrique, and a former Rector of PISAI (the Pontifical Institute of Arabic Studies) in Rome, shares with us his experience gained during 40 years living in Muslim countries. Etienne has spent his life trying to be a bridge between religions.<\/p>\n<p>We suggest beginning your meeting by introducing the film and highlighting the main points made by Father Etienne Vet\u00f6, the Second Vatican Council&#8217;s proposals which are mentioned in the film (see below).
